Georgia Northwestern Technical College Strategic Plan 2024-2029
The Georgia Northwestern Technical College's Strategic Plan (AY 2024-2029) focuses on four key goals: Student Success (enhancing access and success through increased application-to-registration and retention rates, higher graduation numbers, improved class scheduling, and expanded dual enrollment/HSE programs); Academic Quality (exceeding required passage rates in programs needing licensure/certification, utilizing industry-recognized instruments for other programs, meeting HSE passage rates, increasing student use of support services, and ensuring programs meet current industry needs); Resource Management (maintaining fiscal soundness, enhancing fundraising, promoting safety, providing adequate facilities, and recruiting/retaining qualified staff); and Community Partnerships (expanding workforce opportunities, increasing customized contract training, growing apprenticeship program participation, and increasing articulation agreements). The plan aims to promote community, educational, and economic development by providing a skilled workforce through quality technical and academic instruction.
