Key topics in the work session included a strategic planning update on the district's goal for multilingualism, specifically regarding the seal of biliteracy and the launch of a new two-way bilingual dual language program at Dodie Elementary. Consultants presented findings on the importance of bilingual education, emphasizing recruitment, teacher investment, and structural family engagement to ensure academic excellence.

The board meeting included a series of recognitions, notably the Friend of Education Award presented to the Brown County United Way for their support of the Community School strategy.
