Ultimately, the board approved a request to continue the item to a future meeting to allow adequate time for legal representation for both the staff and the board. Additionally, a certificate of Outstanding Service was presented to a board member.

The council meeting featured a public comment period regarding the use of Flock camera systems, where concerns about accountability and the effectiveness of the technology in preventing crime were raised. Following the discussion on camera usage, the council voted to approve the consent agenda and subsequently moved to adjourn the meeting.
