The Commission considered revisions to the Suisun City Zoning Ordinance regarding technical corrections, minor modifications, and the establishment of a new Special Sign Overlay District (SSOD) along the Highway 12 corridor. The Commission also reviewed the Rio Vista Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan Update. Staff recommended that the Suisun City Zoning Ordinance Revisions be found consistent with the Travis Air Force Base Land Use Compatibility Plan, provided specific modifications were made regarding sign height limitations and illumination standards to prevent hazards to flight.
