The Board of Education meeting included discussions and actions on various topics. The board accepted the Fire Inspection Report for the 2024-2025 school year. Presentations were given by the BM Basketball Association and on Board Policy 7315 regarding the use of internet-enabled devices. The board approved filing audit items, budget transfers for 2024-2025, and the Claims Auditor Report. Agreements for the 4410 Preschool Program with Franklin County and the FEH BOCES Initial AS-7 Contract were approved. The board also approved a substitute BMC retiree rate, declared books as obsolete, and approved substitutes for 2025-2026. Appointments were made for summer positions, coaches, advisors, grade level/department chairs, and a Driver's Ed Instructor. The board approved a tenure appointment, permanent appointments, accepted a resignation, and approved stipends for Building Maintenance Worker II. Additionally, they appointed a Lead Bus Driver, Night Crew Lead, and a Food Service Helper/Bus/School Monitor. The board approved a Special Education Teacher appointment, a revised AIS/RTI Plan, a revised Professional Development Plan, a revised Parent and Family Engagement Policy, a revised School Safety Plan, and Board Policy 5685 regarding maximum temperature. Community Based Work Experience Job Sites were approved, along with a Shared Service Agreement and Hold Harmless Agreement for a School Nurse with St. Regis Falls. Finally, the board approved a merger for Football and appointed a Department Chair and a Science Teacher.

The Brushton-Moira Central School Board of Education held a regular meeting where they discussed various topics. They appointed a Clerk of the Works, approved carry-over of vacation time, appointed summer positions, an athletic director, advisors, coaches, volunteer assistant coaches, grade level/department chairs, and substitutes. The board accepted a resignation for retirement purposes, another resignation, and approved a request for an unpaid leave of absence. They also approved the calendar of board meetings for 2025-2026 and a board policy on student representatives. Finally, they approved disposing of a tractor and accepting a bid for it. The meeting included principal's and superintendent's reports, as well as executive sessions to discuss the superintendent's contract and personnel matters. An additional unpaid leave day was also approved.
