The committee convened to review several design cases, including exterior improvements for Hampton Inn involving paint, color schemes, and awning replacements; signage proposals for Dukes Clothier; and exterior modifications, signage, and the addition of a sidewalk café for Cala Coffee.

The council agenda included proclamations for a Mayor for a Day, Police Week, and Jewish American Heritage Month. These include requests for new single-family dwelling constructions, additions to existing dwellings, and an appeal of a Director's decision regarding a rear setback application.

The meeting agenda includes the consideration of a resurvey project for a property located at 2924 Hastings Road. The proposal involves combining two lots and associated acreage within an existing Residence A zoning district. The review includes an assessment of zoning regulation compliance, site layout, and subdivision regulation requirements.

The agenda includes the recommendation for a JBS Mental Health Authority board appointment, an update on the O'Neal Library lease agreement, a petition for the annexation of 4252 Old Leeds Road, and the review of participation in the national opioid settlement agreement.
