The committee discussed the legal restrictions concerning the use of Emergency Telephone Systems Act funds for wall repairs at the 9-1-1 center. The committee moved to place the 2026 Comprehensive Noxious Weed Work Plan and the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit Program on the upcoming County Board agenda. A one-year warranty extension for the new HVAC system was requested. The committee approved the relocation of the VA Office and a memorial. Furthermore, the committee heard the building official report, including permit and project status updates. It was also recommended to reject existing RFPs for a retention wall project, with plans to act as the general contractor for future bidding.

The meeting included reports on Animal Control activities, updates from the Circuit Clerk and the Emergency Management Agency regarding severe weather, and a probation report on a community drug awareness presentation.
