The meeting included discussions on scheduling for upcoming summer meetings, the implementation of agenda best practices, and the approval of new scholarships, including the Lorie Aldrich Memorial Scholarship, the Barry Brook School Scholarship of the Partridge Fund, the Marie A. Lee Memorial Scholarship, the volunteer award of the Partridge Fund, and the Deluxe Bar Nursing Scholarship. Additionally, revisions to school policies regarding advertising, student involvement, and committee meetings were discussed and acted upon. Representatives provided updates on year-end activities, performances, and transitions across the district's schools.

The committee convened to discuss several items, beginning with an executive session regarding collective bargaining with the Duxbury Teachers Association. Following the executive session, the committee addressed the consent agenda, which included accounts payable warrants, payroll warrants, and budget transfers. A presentation was held by the Duxbury Education Foundation regarding their annual fundraising efforts, funded grants, and various school programs, including the installation of a disc golf course, classroom audio upgrades, and special education support tools. Students also shared their experiences with a new sensory space at the high school and the DECA business club. Additionally, future projects were highlighted, such as an esports lab, an osprey nest camera, and a digital record board.
