Accomack-Northampton Planning District Commission Meeting Minutes
The commission addressed financial reports, including the March financial status and general bills payable, and approved several budget amendments for the 2026 fiscal year. Officers, including the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Executive Committee member, were re-elected. Extensive project updates were provided regarding regional planning, water supply plans, dredging initiatives, hazardous mitigation plans, and housing counseling services. Additionally, an agreement for housing counseling was accepted, and discussions occurred regarding potential internship positions and an oyster market failure disaster declaration.
