This document provides an overview and progress update for the Morgan Hill Unified School District's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) for the 2024-2027 period. The plan outlines three broad goals: preparing all students for college, career, and civic life through equitable instruction; promoting family and community engagement; and enhancing student engagement, social-emotional learning, and school climate. It details the implementation and mid-year progress of the Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Plan (2025-2027), which focuses on enhancing communication, strengthening family partnerships in student learning, and fostering collaborative and inclusive school communities to support student success and community impact.

The Morgan Hill Unified School District's long-range development plan aims to guide the district's future by updating its 2017 general plan and aligning with its mission, vision, and goals. The plan focuses on developing district facilities to create physical learning environments that support 21st-century learning and promote equity across the district. The intended outcome is to empower all students to reach their unique potential through locally and community-led learning experiences.

The Morgan Hill Unified Family and Community Engagement Plan aims to cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, culturally relevant, and respectful approach to family engagement, supporting youth development and social-emotional wellness. The plan's vision is to foster meaningful partnerships among all school community members to support the whole child. It focuses on promoting family and community participation in the education process, inspiring active involvement to enhance academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and lifelong learning. Key strategic areas include building relationships, sharing information, modeling effective practices, listening to feedback, incorporating family cultures, and aligning efforts across the school community, anchored by six high-impact engagement strategies.

Key discussion topics include the TK-12 District Literacy Plan and Bay Area Community Health-MediCal. The committee will also discuss membership and election of officers, review and make recommendations on bylaws, and cover member training. Additionally, ELAC reports will be presented, and there will be a public comment session.
