Community Preservation Committee Meeting
The committee convened to reorganize its leadership, electing a new chair and vice-chair, and to welcome new members. Discussion focused on the status of various open projects, including the community trail, historic tree preservation, Washington Hall registry, Pines shade and seating, environmental testing, trail enhancements, and the Congregational Church clock and bell restoration. The committee also planned for upcoming kickoff meetings for newly approved projects and evaluated potential 2027 initiatives, specifically discussing the feasibility of paving walking trails and addressing vegetation issues in Johnson's Pond through potential inter-municipal cooperation or consulting.
