BoardWhitfield County Board of Commissioners Regular Business Meeting
The Board of Commissioners addressed several items including the approval of a budget amendment for 2025, the recognition of the Employee of the Month, and various department reports. New business included the approval of an updated Drug and Alcohol Policy and an Urban Transportation Grant Application for the Transit Department. The Board also accepted a 2025 JAG Grant for Accountability Courts, approved various budget amendments, reviewed the final design contract for the Hwy 201 intersection, authorized the purchase of a wheel loader for Public Works, and approved an SRO MOU with the North Georgia Regional Educational Service Agency. Additionally, the Board reviewed several rezoning recommendations.
