Regular Meeting for the Board of Education
The meeting will cover the presentation of the Independent Auditor's Report on Financial Statements for Fiscal Year 2023-24, followed by votes on the acceptance and approval of the report, warrants and encumbrances, and financial reports. Other agenda items include votes on temporary personnel contracts, policy and procedure manual amendments (social media, student conduct, personnel suspensions and terminations, voluntary prayer, teacher conduct, and discrimination prohibition), an out-of-state travel request, sick leave and unpaid leave requests, the acceptance of a resignation, and quotes for a new vehicle. Discussions and votes will also take place on purchasing a buy-down deductible insurance policy and updates on aviation funding and a potential partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education for a DOL grant.
