Blount County Government Human Resources Committee Meeting Minutes
The committee deferred the election of the chairperson and vice-chairperson until after the new four-year term begins. They approved the transition of healthcare advocacy and care navigation services to Rightway Healthcare, Inc., along with the necessary amendments to the existing administrative services agreement. Furthermore, the committee approved the medical and dental premium funding rates for the 2027 plan year, forwarding both to the Insurance Committee with a favorable recommendation. Finally, they approved the amended Blount County Employee Handbook and forwarded it to the full Commission with a favorable recommendation.
