Randolph College Strategic Plan 2024-2029
The Randolph College Strategic Plan (2024-2029) outlines six key goals: 1. Leverage the value of a liberal arts education for career preparation by creating an Experiential Learning Center, developing career preparation sequences, establishing industry advisory boards, formalizing relationships with graduate schools, and ensuring internship access for all students. 2. Enhance student success through a comprehensive first-year experience, an Academic Success Center, developmental coursework, targeted retention initiatives, a wellness-focused PE program, and improved mental health support. 3. Strengthen the academic portfolio by adding new undergraduate and graduate programs, refining the TAKE2 program, implementing study abroad strategies, and establishing a Teaching and Learning Center. 4. Broaden enrollment and diversify revenue streams by increasing course offerings, facilitating community college transfers, creating a degree-completion program, offering non-degree credentials, and maximizing summer campus use. 5. Strengthen community engagement by incentivizing student participation, fostering interaction between campus groups, creating athletics and diversity, equity, and inclusion plans, supporting employee wellness, and reviewing the honor system. 6. Address infrastructural and organizational challenges by improving employee compensation, transitioning to online policies, addressing deferred maintenance, and renovating the campus to accommodate growth and enhance access and inclusion. The plan aims to balance the operating budget and enhance the college's reputation for its unique blend of liberal arts education and career preparation, leading to increased enrollment and financial sustainability.
