This document outlines the Municipality of West Grey's plan to ensure accessibility for electors and candidates with disabilities in the 2026 Municipal Election. The council meeting addressed various municipal matters, including a presentation on the development concept and future uses for the Saugeen Municipal Airport. Council members reviewed committee and board reports and authorized the staff to send letters of support for provincial legislative amendments and a request for a 2027 Assessment Role. Staff reports included a direction to initiate public consultation for an accessory apartment zoning amendment and the decision to decline a fee waiver request from Quick Feet Hockey Inc. Additionally, the council conducted a closed session regarding civic honour roll nominees and enacted several bylaws concerning zoning amendments and the confirmation of meeting proceedings.

The council received delegations concerning the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority water quality program and road safety concerns on Baseline Road. Correspondence was addressed regarding a request for support for a CKNX transition from AM to FM and a noise bylaw exemption request which was deferred. The council reviewed the 2025 South Grey Chamber of Commerce year-end reporting. Additionally, several bylaws were enacted, including those for election signs, municipal resources for election purposes, amendments to aquatics fees, and a cost-sharing agreement for the Saugeen Municipal Airport.

The council meeting addressed several key matters, including delegations regarding the Victoria Street reconstruction project and a proposed Battery Energy Storage System. Correspondence was reviewed concerning delegation opportunities at the ROMA 2026 conference, a request for a municipal support resolution, and a boundary adjustment request from a neighboring municipality. Staff reports provided updates on the interim control bylaw, an RFP for creating aggregate policies, and the reconstruction of Victoria Street. Furthermore, a closed session was held to discuss solicitor-client privileged matters. Finally, several bylaws were deliberated, including those related to zoning amendments and land use control for gravel pits and quarries.

The public meeting was held to receive input regarding a proposed zoning amendment (ZA28.2025) for 422348 Concession 6 NDR. The agent for the applicant provided an overview of the proposal, and the Senior Planner noted that no concerns were raised by commenting agencies. There were no comments from the public during the session. Council subsequently directed staff to bring forward a bylaw to amend bylaw 37-2006 in relation to the application.
