The Public Hearing addressed seven separate applications requesting rezoning from Agricultural (A-1) to various residential or manufactured housing development categories, all of which the Planning Staff recommended for approval, and all motions to approve carried 5-0. New Business involved several considerations, including the approval of the FY 2026 Local Maintenance Improvement Grant (LMIG) paving list, declaring two vehicles as surplus from the Coroner's Office, purchasing a tractor for SPLOST funds, approving the purchase of a Fire Pumper Apparatus pending legal review, approving a Memorandum of Understanding regarding property located at 1070 Liberty Road SW, and authorizing a letter of support to the Georgia Department of Transportation for improvements along the Belwood Road, Lovers Lane, and Harmony Church Road corridor.

Concerns were raised regarding the management scope for three Authority members, emphasizing the need for a capable director and Finance Department operational oversight. The necessity of retaining legal counsel was also considered.
