Highlights of Mr. Brown's contributions included implementing GPS-based work for lining ball fields, which resulted in significant staff hour savings, setting up police squad cars internally to save contracting costs, installing city art benches, fabricating custom equipment for ice arenas and turf preparation, and serving as the mainline snow removal driver. His talents as a skilled, disciplined, and creative mechanic and blacksmith were commended.
