The Uinta County Commissioners convened to discuss and approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Uinta County and other entities in Southwest Wyoming regarding the Industrial Siting Kemmerer Power Station Unit 1 Project Impact Assistance request.

The 2011 Uinta County Comprehensive Plan is a proactive effort to address the county's present and future land use needs, updating and clarifying existing goals and policies. It focuses on six key areas: Plan and Policy Implementation, Land Use and Development, Economic Development, Infrastructure and County Services, Natural Environment/Cultural Resources, and Public Lands and Resources. The plan aims to provide a consistent direction for future land use, enhance community relations, promote economic development, coordinate infrastructure, encourage responsible resource use, and foster inter-agency cooperation.
