The public hearing for the Gott Ditch drainage improvement project in Penfield Township was held to discuss the restoration of the ditch. The project involves clearing and grubbing along the ditch from the west side of State Route 301, removing sediment blockages, and creating positive drainage along the drainage way. The project is funded by ARPA funds, with no cost to property owners, and ongoing maintenance covered by the storm water district. The hearing included public comments and questions regarding the removal of sediment from underneath the Box Culvert on 301 and the project's impact on the Curtis ditch.
