The Board reviewed financial statements and final budgets for the 2025-2026 school year, as well as the initial budget for 2026-2027. Key actions included the approval of a School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) membership waiver request, renewal of the Good Cause Exception for armed security requirements, and updates to bank signature cards. The Board also approved local policies, a resolution for compliance with Texas Education Code regarding DEI and instructional requirements, and various charter expansion and non-expansion amendments, including adding a new site in Denton and placing the DeSoto location in dormancy. Additionally, authorization was granted to the Superintendent to submit necessary amendments and waivers.
