The project focuses on implementation grant funding for corridor improvements on State Street and West State Street, specifically addressing local road safety plans and high injury network criteria based on crash data.

The work session included a financial presentation by Davenport Public Finance and a final review of the Fiscal Year 2027 Budget. Key discussion topics also covered the Limited Property Tax Partial Payment/Prepayment Policy, various zoning and alley abandonment requests, traffic signal relocation, and a Memorandum of Understanding with Sullivan County regarding recycling collection. Additional items addressed included an Assistance to Firefighters Grant application, the Tod Houston Field Operating Agreement, support for the Better Bristol Nonprofit, the Downtown Entertainment District, and an appointment to the Tri-Cities Airport Board.
