Byng Board Of Education Regular Meeting
The board approved a variety of financial actions, including purchase orders for the General, Building, and Building Bond funds, and accepted various activity fund reports and account definitions. Several policy updates were adopted or amended. The board approved changes to start times for multiple elementary schools, adopted the faculty/staff and student handbooks for the upcoming fiscal year, and addressed personnel actions, including resignations and new hires. Additionally, the board approved salary schedules, contract salaries, summer coaching stipends, and summer workers. The tennis facility was officially named the Simpson Family Tennis Center. Updates were provided on bond project construction progress, conference attendance, school enrollment preparations, and facility improvements including carpet installation and sound system consultations.
