The meeting included the election of the Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary. Departmental reports covered updates on housing inspections, the ban on Kratom sales, and tobacco licensing statistics. The Health Department outlined plans for a backpack program and beach safety measures. Youth & Family Services discussed upcoming fall community service initiatives and food assistance programs. Additional topics included a missing person investigation, summer staffing and hiring progress, as well as family support resources and camp opportunities. The coalition also addressed community concerns regarding a potential group home.
