Specifically, the commission reviewed staff's proposal to remove the term 'prohibited' regarding nighttime noise, instead clarifying noise limits and performance standards, and creating new regulations for outdoor power equipment. The commission also received a summary regarding future plans to address drive-through noise through a separate upcoming zoning amendment. The staff emphasized that these amendments are intended to improve code clarity and consistency rather than increase permitted noise levels.
