The Lawton Water Authority convened a special meeting to address key financial and infrastructure projects. The loan proceeds are intended for financing wastewater treatment plant improvements and water meter replacements, with a total aggregate principal amount not to exceed $70 million. The council also considered accepting plans and specifications for the wastewater treatment plant project and starting the advertising of that project.
