This document is the 2025 Federal Report Card for Klondike ISD, outlining the district's long-term and interim ESSA goals. It establishes targets for academic performance in Reading/ELA and Mathematics, English Learner (EL) progress, and graduation rates for all students and various subgroups. The report also details the state's accountability system, including indicators, methodologies for school differentiation, student achievement, academic growth, English language proficiency, school quality, STAAR participation, civil rights data, teacher quality, per-pupil expenditure, STAAR Alternate 2 participation, NAEP results, and postsecondary enrollment, with strategic objectives extending to the 2037-2038 school year.

The Klondike Independent School District Board of Trustees convened for a meeting to discuss various topics. These included administrators' reports, a snapshot count, Thanksgiving holiday plans, playoff games for volleyball and football, class profits from the 2025 Harvest Festival, and SHAC committee suggestions. The board also considered and approved changes to the December, January and February board meeting dates, approved a representative for KISD to the Dawson CAD Board of Directors, and approved LOCAL policies as offered by TASB Policy Service. The board went into and re-entered open session to discuss personnel.

The Klondike Independent School District's Board of Trustees convened to discuss several key items. These included administrator's reports, preliminary 2025-26 values and tax rates, school safety training, phone policies, local days, board training, transfer stops, insurance premiums, and SB 413. The board also considered and acted on accepting bank depository services, approving an auditor, revisions to TASB LOCAL policies, adding new security cameras, approving the 2025-2026 Student Code of Conduct, local days policy, and insurance premiums. The board went into a closed session to discuss personnel matters before adjourning.

The Board of Trustees convened for a special called meeting, which included board training on updates to the code.

The board meeting included a public hearing on proposed tax rates and the budget for the 2025-2026 school year. The board also discussed and approved an Accelerated Instruction Waiver for 2025-2026, amended the 2024-2025 budget, and approved salaries and the overall budget for 2025-2026. Additionally, they approved an ordinance setting the tax rate for the 2025-2026 school year.
