City of Senatobia Mayor and Board of Aldermen Regular Meeting
The board approved medical, dental, and vision insurance renewals, and granted a funding request for the Healing Hearts Child Advocacy Center. The session included a public address regarding police department accountability and transparency. Various personnel actions were authorized, including accepting several resignations, approving promotions within the Public Works department, authorizing new hires, and suspending a firefighter for policy violations. Additionally, the board approved travel and training authorizations for multiple departments, authorized the liquidation of a certificate of deposit to finance the purchase of a fire truck, approved a loan for said fire truck, entered into waste service agreements, and declared several city assets as surplus for disposal.
