This document outlines the vision and strategic approach for Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) within Wylie Independent School District. The overarching goal is to cultivate an environment where diversity is recognized as a strength, fostering a profound sense of belonging, value, and safety for all educators, students, and families. The strategy is built upon five core pillars: enhancing an inclusive climate and culture, attracting and retaining a quality and diverse staff, providing professional development for faculty and staff, embracing the district's Relational Practice Initiative, and recognizing and celebrating the diverse backgrounds and cultures within the school community.

This Campus Improvement Plan for George W. Bush Elementary outlines key strategies and objectives for the 2024-2025 school year. The plan focuses on eight main goals, including fostering a strong sense of community and ethical values, maximizing academic achievement for every student through enhanced collaborations and support, and encouraging involvement in extracurricular activities for character development. Additional priorities include attracting, retaining, and developing quality staff, managing growth with functional equity and financial responsibility, preparing students for successful post-high school life, and continuously improving safety measures.
