Village Council Regular Meeting
The meeting included special recognition of a lieutenant's promotion and a presentation on the Carroll Golden Age Retreat's renewal levy. Departmental reports were provided covering water and sewer rate planning, park improvements, downtown community initiatives, and the status of bridge and paving projects. The Council passed several ordinances, including amendments to annual appropriations, an update to the codified ordinances, a community building demolition agreement, and a police dispatch agreement with the Village of Carrollton. Additionally, the Council approved the Stonehedge plat, a liquor permit transfer, and multiple donations, including funds for pickleball court updates, a memorial donation, and a police department contribution. An amendment to a previous pump purchase authorization was also approved.
