Jefferson County Board of Commissioners Meeting Minutes
The board received operational updates from the Public Works department regarding road maintenance, culvert repairs, and equipment acquisitions, as well as an update on upcoming concrete work from the Emergency Services director. Planning and Zoning presented a Quit Claim Deed for Land Bank property transfers and a contract for mobile home area cleanup. The board deliberated on a funding request from the City of Perry for various parks and recreation projects and appointed a new Norton Township Treasurer. Additionally, the Fair Board President provided an overview of fairgrounds improvements and future needs. Financial business included the renewal of a certificate of deposit and the approval of credit card applications for the Sheriff's Office.
