The Council discussed and approved several financial and project-related items. Key actions included approving budget amendments for a Town Center market analysis, Town Hall ADA door improvements, contracted planning services, and improvements for the Veterans Park and local fields. The Council authorized contracts for July 4th celebration amusements, sewer pipe replacements and rehabilitation in Cabarrus Woods, and branded facility signage for parks and fire stations. Additionally, the Council accepted a deed for property designated for the future Veterans Park.
