The meeting included presentations on the proposal to hold a special election to authorize the issuance of $60 million in general obligation bonds for the facility, with officials confirming that this could be achieved without an increase in the current bond millage rate. Additionally, the commission approved the advancement of resolutions related to the bond issue.
