This document, an addendum to New Jersey's Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Consolidated State Plan for the 2021-2022 school year, outlines temporary revisions to accountability and school identification methodologies due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Key modifications include shifting timelines for long-term goals, adapting academic growth indicators due to data comparability issues, and adjusting identification and exit criteria for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) and Additional Targeted Support (ATS) schools. The plan aims to ensure accountability determinations and school identifications can proceed in Fall 2022, specifically by not counting the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years towards exit timelines.

The forum discussed plans to expand and improve schools, funding strategies, and building needs related to the bond referendum. The discussion included the expansion of the middle school, elementary school renovations, HVAC and roofing replacements, and security improvements. The forum also addressed the creation of a freestanding operation center, improvements to traffic flow, and the addition of Bridgeboro Road fields and lighting.

The Board of Education approved multiple renovation projects across various schools, including George C. Baker Elementary School, Mary E. Roberts Elementary School, South Valley Elementary School, Upper Elementary School, William Allen Middle School, and Moorestown High School. These projects encompass general renovations, rehabilitation work, additions at William Allen Middle School, and site work improvements. Additionally, the construction of a new bus depot at Upper Elementary School and the installation of new turf fields at Moorestown High School were approved. The District's Architects are authorized to submit these projects to the NJ Department of Education for approval, with the District seeking Debt Service Aid for these Referendum projects. Amendments to the Long-Range Facilities Plan were also approved to incorporate these projects.

The meeting included an executive session to discuss the superintendent candidate application review. It also included a period for public comment where community members could address the Board on school matters. The meeting concluded with general remarks during the Good of the Order.
