Blount County Commission Workshop Meeting
The Commission discussed several budget consent calendar items, including the retroactive approval of a building project for vehicle storage and the installation of an HVAC unit. The Commission reviewed resolutions for the dedication of ARPA utility assets to various utility districts, approved compensation for the Blount County Election Commission, and established 2027 medical plan funding rates. Additionally, the Commission discussed and supported a proposal to encourage the state legislature to enact measures for preserving farmland and rural property.
