This strategic plan outlines the priorities that will guide Vermont State University in delivering on its mission and vision. The program outcomes assessment plan focuses on evaluating the Education Department's effectiveness in several key areas. These include using academic study to examine content area knowledge, employing action research to design inclusive learning experiences, applying critical analysis to reframe educational endeavors, and utilizing self-study to rethink conventional notions. The plan involves analyzing course reflections, Praxis scores, licensure portfolios, and interview data to identify curricular gaps, teaching strategies, and areas for programmatic improvement.
