The council approved several Special Event Permits, including those for a homeless outreach event, a high school alumni picnic, a Trunk or Treat event, and a Hispanic Heritage Festival. Intergovernmental agreements were authorized with the Ascension Parish Government regarding Geographic Information System services and the relocation of a water line. Additionally, the council adopted a resolution to seek funding for traffic signal upgrades through the Carbon Reduction Program and deferred the finance report to a future meeting.
