Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
The Board reviewed and approved mission statements for several community colleges and authorized fee increases for Wallace Community College - Dothan and Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. Significant actions included the purchase of instructional equipment for Jefferson State Community College and Wallace Community College Selma, as well as the approval of new academic programs in fields such as industrial automation, occupational therapy, radiologic technology, and baking. Furthermore, the Board authorized several construction and facility renovation projects across multiple campuses, including those at Northeast Alabama, Northwest Shoals, Snead State, Jefferson State, and Gadsden State. A new Chief, Adult Learning and Training Officer was also introduced.
