Specific goals include increasing diversity among students and staff, promoting equitable access to resources, improving student pathways to completion and employment, enhancing teaching and learning practices, developing robust community partnerships, and fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability.
The meeting included a study session focusing on Vision 2025 (TCC Strategic Plan), followed by a regular session covering various topics. Key discussion points included a review of the Core Indicator Report for Vision 2025, addressing questions about Running Start headcount versus FTE and evening/weekend course offerings. The Equity, Diversity & Inclusion section presented on EDI-related Washington legislation. Winter 2022 enrollment data was reviewed, along with budget-to-actual figures for the second quarter of FY22. Reports from various groups, including faculty, Associated Students, and the Foundation, were presented. New employee introductions were also part of the meeting.

A draft of priorities was developed, and further work is needed to finalize success metrics and operational changes. A mid-year evaluation of the president was also conducted during an executive session.
