This document outlines the planning process for the Gunnison County Hazard Mitigation Plan. The board also reviewed the Whetstone project progress, discussed secure rural schools funding allocation, evaluated a potential letter of opposition regarding state revenue legislation, and approved budget amendments. Additionally, a public hearing was held regarding the amendment of on-site wastewater treatment system regulations, and an executive session was conducted to receive legal advice on litigation.

The work session meeting covered updates from the Tourism and Prosperity Partnership Board, including marketing performance, regional economic trends, and future strategic initiatives for the ICELab. The session also included a presentation and discussion of the Gunnison County Economic Model, which analyzes factors such as housing expansion, tourism impacts, and structural shifts at Western Colorado University. Additionally, the Board discussed updates to the Gunnison County Strategic Plan.

The meeting includes sessions for the Board of Human Services, the Local Liquor Licensing Authority, and the Board of County Commissioners.
