The committee received and reviewed several informational reports, including the bi-monthly water report and the bi-monthly JAMES plant report covering March and April 2026. Additionally, the committee received the March 2026 financial statements and the regional water and JAMES plant master plans.

The committee reviewed and received reports including the JAMES Plant Report, the Water Report, and the 2025 Year-End Financial Statements. Additionally, the committee endorsed the 2026 allocation percentages for water and sewer operations revenue and cost-sharing, and recommended approval for the 2026 financial plan carry-forward amendment to the City of Abbotsford and City of Mission Councils.

The committee reviewed a subdivision application for boundary realignment on Fore Road and recommended that Council forward it to the ALC with support. Additionally, staff provided updates on the Climate Resilience Strategy project and presented an overview of the draft Fishtrap Creek Integrated Stormwater Management Plan.

The committee received and reviewed reports regarding the Bylaw Services 2025 Statistics Overview and the Climate Resilience Strategy Stage 1 Update. Additionally, the committee discussed matters related to community surveys and strategic planning.

The meeting involved several key items, including a presentation on Tourism Abbotsford and reviews of minutes from various advisory committees. The Council directed staff to proceed with Stage 3 of the Climate Resilience Strategy and approved the 2025 Draft Audited Financial Statements. Furthermore, the Council advanced the 2026 Property Tax Rates bylaw through three readings, directed staff to implement a 5-Year Public Art Workplan and explore community partnerships for an art event, and approved proceeding with an Official Community Plan amendment for the Salton Road area. Finally, the Five-Year Financial Plan Amendment Bylaw was adopted.
