The Board of Trustees conducted a regular meeting to address administrative reports, including updates from principals and the Director of Operations. Key actions included the approval of library materials and the appointment of Snow Garrett Williams as district auditors for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The Board also voted to approve a waiver for missed school days, decided against adopting the Senate Bill 11 Resolution, and tabled the discussion regarding the 2026-2027 school calendar. Furthermore, the meeting covered personnel matters, including employment, renewals, and resignations.

The board accepted a donation of land, approved the sale of school property to the Cool-Garner Volunteer Fire Department, and adopted several policy updates. Other actions included approval of the 2017-2018 instructional materials allotment and TEKS certification, as well as personnel decisions regarding teacher and principal hiring and resignations. The Superintendent provided a legislative and state of affairs update.

The board meeting included a school board recognition presentation and a review of facility cost estimates and site plans. Key actions included the approval of an interlocal agreement with Parker County for paving projects, a decision to provide no comment on the Oak Timbers-Mineral Wells Apartments development, and a review of the District TAPR. The board also adopted Local Policy Update 116 regarding technology resources, employment practices, wellness and health services, and conduct on school premises, as well as updates to policies CH and CV. Additionally, the board conducted the superintendent's formative evaluation during an executive session.

The board received a student group showcase and a school safety update regarding the hiring of a full-time school resource officer. The board approved revisions to the district calendar, low attendance day waivers, the instructional materials allotment, and TEKS certification. Additionally, the board accepted the resignation of a certified teacher and approved various term, probationary, and dual assignment contracts for school staff.

The Board of Trustees discussed and approved various items, including a cafeteria price increase, the ordering of the November general election, and a contract for election services with Parker County. Additional approvals covered an interlocal agreement amendment, extra-curricular status for the 4H organization, adjunct faculty agreements, student handbooks, and the student code of conduct. The Board appointed a district attorney for the school year, set dates for public meetings regarding the budget, tax rate, and F.I.R.S.T. rating, and approved the professional development appraisal system calendar. Furthermore, the Board reviewed a presentation on the proposed budget and tax rate, approved a moving allowance for the superintendent, and received an update on school start procedures.
