The board approved a petition for an amendment to the Roberts Estates subdivision plat and discussed a future joint meeting. Official action was taken to authorize travel for various staff for training and conferences, including the retrieval of a suspect from out of state. The board reviewed and approved grant applications for the Sheriff's department, initiated public hearings regarding property cleanliness, approved a financial transfer to the Yazoo Economic Partnership, and selected vendors for the purchase of knuckle booms and a dump truck. Additionally, the board accepted a financing quote for a tractor, entered into a Waste Tire Grant Agreement, designated an official holiday, approved a construction contract for the courthouse renovation project, and authorized training for E-911 dispatch personnel.

The board approved resolutions for the creation of an Urban Renewal Authority and an application to the HOME Investment Partnership Grant Program. The contract for the construction of a new hangar at the Yazoo County Airport was awarded to Hope Enterprises, LLC. The board authorized a financial contribution for students attending the American Legion Boys State program, approved a change order for the FAA, and declared an emergency situation regarding a dam breach at Eastbrook Subdivision, authorizing the immediate purchase of a box culvert. Additionally, the board entered into a PREA Audit contract, approved the purchase of an air conditioning unit for a volunteer fire station, authorized a search for financing for new Sheriff's Department vehicles, and acknowledged various activity reports, a mental health center report, and operational reimbursement requisitions.

The board discussed and adopted a new policy for compensatory time for employees, voted to dissolve the Yazoo County Economic Development District, and created the Yazoo Economic Alliance to take over its functions. They approved posting meeting minutes on the county website, resolved to invite the Yazoo City Board of Mayor and Alderpersons to a joint session, and authorized donations for a community breakfast and for students participating in a national skills competition. The board also reviewed and approved various administrative and operational items, including a pay increase for a correctional facility nurse, purchasing used vehicles and repair services for county offices, approving PERS contribution payments, purchasing a tractor, engaging a CPA firm for an audit, and approving travel for a judge. Additionally, they addressed a grant report, court orders for payments, a student trip donation, an addendum to an ambulance service agreement, and a change order for an airport project.
