Town of Bluffton Stormwater Management Plan
The Stormwater Management Plan for the Town of Bluffton outlines a methodical approach to implement programs fulfilling six Minimum Control Measures (MCMs) to protect stormwater quality within its jurisdiction. These MCMs include Public Education and Outreach, Public Participation and Involvement, Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination, Construction Site Stormwater Runoff Control, Post-Construction Stormwater Management, and Pollution Prevention/Good Housekeeping for Municipal Operations. The plan also includes developing a monitoring and implementation strategy to address water quality concerns in impaired waterways and is designed to ensure compliance with federal and state stormwater regulations.
