Woodbridge Township Council Special Council Meeting
The council conducted a second reading of an ordinance regarding the dissolution of the KSB Fire District Number 4 and its merger with Ford's Fire District Number 7. The Mayor presented the administration's position, citing public safety concerns, operational viability, and state-backed recommendations as the primary reasons for the dissolution. Representatives from the affected fire district and local residents opposed the ordinance, questioning the safety justifications, alleging the move was motivated by private development interests rather than public safety, and criticizing the lack of transparency throughout the process.
