Athens County Board of County Commissioners Regular Meeting
The Board of Commissioners conducted business including pre-construction meeting updates for New Marshfield sewer projects, authorization of OWDA disbursement and pay applications, and approval of water and sewer service extensions. The meeting also included actions on declaring EMS surplus equipment, approving the purchase of new Sheriff cruisers, and authorizing the illumination of the courthouse for Epilepsy Awareness Month. Furthermore, the board addressed personnel matters for the 911 department, approved a radio tower site lease agreement, authorized contracts and bid advertisements for OEMA landslide repairs, and held informational presentations from Athens County Children Services regarding foster care and placement initiatives.
