The meeting focused on an application by Recoil New Jersey Incorporated for an addition to their existing indoor shooting range facility to allow for the retail sale of firearms and ammunition. The Board addressed the legal principle of res judicata and determined that substantial changes to the application, including building additions and parking expansion, warranted a new hearing. Technical testimony was provided regarding site plans, including wetland constraints, stormwater facility improvements, and requested variances for buffer requirements, parking stall dimensions, and loading space sizes.
