The City Council conducted a regular meeting to deliberate on zoning and land use requests, specifically approving a rezoning request and a conditional use permit for the placement of a mobile home. The council also addressed a consent agenda involving several procurement items: bids for a high-pressure jet vacuum hydro truck, a rolloff truck, a truck and trailer combination, a new mini excavator, and 95-gallon rollout containers. Furthermore, the council approved a limited warranty deed for 117 acres of industrial property to the development authority to facilitate industrial growth. The Council honored the outgoing interim city manager for various accomplishments including facility improvements, administrative reorganizations, and departmental upgrades.
