The Commission discussed several initiatives related to National Historic Preservation Month, including a social media campaign, a celebration trail application, and an upcoming event at the Hays House Museum. An update was provided on the McComas Village rehabilitation project funded by the African American Heritage Grant, noting its completion deadline. Additionally, the committee reviewed activities from the America 250 Harford County Committee, such as the Ag-Stravaganza event and plans for a public art contest and mobile museum. Finally, updates were given on historic site documentation forms and zoning code review committee status.
