Specific goals include increasing staff retention, improving student performance on assessments, developing community partnerships, reducing disciplinary referrals, and expanding vocational opportunities. The overall vision is to prepare all students to be positive participants in society while fulfilling their highest potential, producing graduates who are "Success Ready" citizens.

The South Callaway R-II School District's 2023-2026 Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) focuses on four priority areas: Progressive Leadership, Effective Teaching & Learning, Collaborative Culture & Climate, and Equity & Access in Learning. Goals include improving staff retention rates (95% for certified staff and 85% for classified staff), enhancing public communication effectiveness (80% stakeholder satisfaction by May 2026), increasing parent satisfaction with district communication (75% by May 2026), and improving student and staff well-being and behavior compliance with district codes of conduct (80% and 95% respectively by 2026).
